I.T. 1600
The I.T. 1600 electronic time recorder has three models, the
I.T. 1600MV, I.T. 1600SV, and I.T. 1600AV. They all offer badge
or PIN punching as well as employee functions such as tip entry
and reviewing hours. Supervisors can make edits at the time recorder,
such as adding missed punches and transferring employees.
You connect an I.T. 1600 to a PC running Attendance for Windows
or Attendance Professional for Windows. The PC software polls
the time recorder for punches and edits, making the I.T. 1600
an integral part of the InfoTronics time and attendance solution.
I.T. 1600 Features
- 1000 employee capacity
- Magnetic or bar code badges
- Easy-to-read 20-character alphanumeric display, showing time
in 12- or 24-hour format
- Battery-protected memory · Automatic adjustment for
daylight savings time
- Two serial communications ports, one for connection to a PC
another for a printer
- RS232 communications for direct connection to a PC up to 100
feet away
- Capability for ringing bells and opening doors
- Modem for connecting to a PC over a telephone line
- RS485 communications (standard for the AV model)
I.T. 1600 Model Differences
| Function keys |
The I.T. 1600MV has six function keys, the SV and AV have
12 function keys. |
| Remote badge readers |
The I.T. 1600MV does not support a remote badge reader,
the SV supports one, the AV supports 12 remote badge readers.
Remote badge readers can be placed away from the time recorder
for security access or to allow punching at a remote distance. |
| Memory |
The I.T. 1600MV has 128K standard memory. The SV and AV
have 256K standard memory. |
| Case |
The I.T. 1600MV has a flat-mount case. The SV and AV have
wedge-mount cases. |
| Operational battery backup |
The I.T. 1600SV and AV offer optional operational battery
backup allowing up to 1000 transactions after loss of power.
This option is not available for the MV model. |
| Bar code wand |
The I.T. 1600SV and AV offer optional bar code wand/slot
reader for data entry from labels or documents. This option
is not available for the MV model. |
